Robert Elton Davis, aged 59, who was reared in the Hillsboro vicinity died Aug 4 (1944) of a heart attack at his home in Rawlins, Wyo. He was born Nov 6, 1884 at Hillsboro son of the late Stephen and Charlotte Davis. In 1915 he was married to Maude Quinn of Covington and they moved to Rawlins in 1917. He was a barber by trade and last January purchased a small shop which he continued to operate until his death. Besides the widow, he is survived by a brother and sister, SM Davis and Mrs. Vessie Johnson of Indianapolis and a brother, Russell I. Davis of Florida. Funeral services were held Aug 7 at Rawlins with burial in the cemetery there.

He was home alone when he suffered the attack, and was found dead on the floor by a neighbor, who notified his wife.    He was born Nov. 6, 1884 at Hillsboro, son of the late Stephen and Charlotte Davis. In 1915 he was married to Maude Quinn of Covington, and they moved to Rawlins in 1917.
